Yari and Naginata (Pole Weapons)

Spade Tipped Yari (Jatoba Spear Head)

Kukishin Ryu Sankaku Yari

7 feet long. The shaft of our Yari is made from two layers of white oak, cross grain laminated to help ensure they stay straight and true longer than single pieces. You may have noticed in your dojo how many of the longer Bo staffs look slightly warped or bent. This happens with long single pieces of wood over time. Our lamination reduces the chance of this happening to your weapon. The Sankaku tipped yari has the "blade" made in the triangle shape Kukishin Ryu made famous and is very strong. The spade tipped option has a Jatoba "blade" laminated to the shaft (cooler looking and feels like a real spear, slightly weaker than sankaku option).
Spade Tipped Yari: $155
Sankaku Tipped Yari: $155

Naginata

7 feet long. Our Naginata are made from two layers, cross grain laminated to help ensure they stay straight and true longer than single pieces. You may have noticed in your dojo how many of the longer Bo staffs look slightly warped or bent. This happens with long single pieces of wood over time. Our lamination reduces the chance of this happening to your weapon. The blades are steam bent for strength and shaped to give these weapons an impressive appearance.
Naginata: $175
